I went to my button stash, but just didn't find anything that added enough pizazz. I have been fooling around lately experimenting with some elementary crocheting. I found several little flower patterns on line and this one seem to jump out to me. The size was good and it was simple!....most important.
I selected an ordinary button of the color of jacket and just started gluing on 'stuff.' After letting the glue dry, I glued a shank button on the backside to aid in attaching it to the jacket. Then sewed the flower on the jacket then placed the button on the crochet flower and then using the shank button to sew it onto the jacket.
The actual closure is covered snaps, size 2 .
